S’intéressant aux notions de territoires extrêmes et de marginalité, faisant du Salento un centre de la Méditerranée, notre collaboration avec KORA Center a aboutit sur une proposition mêlant performance, édition et installation - Il Rumore del mare è troppo forte.
Une première recherche mêlant archives et photographies sur le territoire a donné lieu à trois publications - ARCHIVES #1 #2 #3.
Dans un second temps, une performance filmée proposait d’habiter la fontaine asséchée du Parco Pozzelle dans le village de Castrignano de’Greci, et d’accueillir un groupe de jeunes musiciens locaux performant la chanson de tarantelle traditionnelle Lu rusciu te lu mare.
Une installation finale lors d’une exposition à KORA Center présentait l’ensemble de ces formes expérimentées durant ce mois de recherche.

In a second phase, a filmed performance proposed to inhabit the dried-up fountain of Parco Pozzelle in the village of Castrignano de'Greci, and to welcome a group of young local musicians performing the traditional tarantella song Lu rusciu te lu mare.
A final installation in an exhibition at KORA Center presented all these forms experimented during this month of research.
